Amish Teen Leds Cops on One-Mile Chase
It looks like Rumspringa ’10 has ended early for 17-year-old Levi Detweiler who was arrested after failing to recognize a stop sign; a real shame because judging by the amount of alcohol in his system and zippers in his pocket, it seemed like he was having a pretty good time.
The reckless teen, with little to lose, lead police on a tense one-mile horse and buggy chase that ended when he failed to make a left-hand turn and crashed into a ditch. After attempting to escape on foot, he was arrested for “underage possession of alcohol, reckless endangerment, failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle” and of course, over-driving an animal. Bail is posted at $500.

Richard Thompson- 1952 Vincent Black Lightning
Oh my god, I dont know why I havent posted this song yet. Despite remaining somewhat obscure, Richard Thompson has been around for a damn long time and is probably one of the best guitarists alive today. Seriously.
This song is about a girl and a motorcycle–a 1952 Vincent Black Lightening.

This WAS Kate’s favorite song of the moment
…until Max reminded me it’s on The Hills soundtrack. Blech.
Oh well, it’s still a good bike-home-from-work song.
